Thaddeus Krajewski was drafted into the war on October 16, 1940 out of Connecticut to the 304th Engineering Battalion 79th Infantry Division.
The shield above is the Lorraine Cross. The Cross of Lorraine in the middle of the badge symbolizes triumph. The division was created in August of 1917.

Thaddeus Krajewski served as a Captain in the 79th. On Thursday, July 27, 1944 Thaddeus Krajewski died in Normandy, France.
